Format dynamic text

I am using animate cc html 5 publish. I have a dynamic text field that I change the text via viable at runtime. However, I want to format the text, for instance bold one word in the string. Is there a way to add html text formatting to dynamic text field? I know how to do it with AS3 but now I am trying to publish for html5.

No, canvas text does not support that. If you want freeform text formatting you'll have to float an actual HTML text element over the stage.
