How To Make Image Thumbnails Show in Windows 8 Instead of Adobe Icon

I was editing image files in Windows 8 for a slide show when the image thumbnails disappeared and were replaced by the Adobe icon. I tried to toggle back to the image mode, but it no longer works. I checked settings, and the box is checked to show images instead of icons. How can I make the thumbnail images show again?

Hi J. Ray,

Sorry for the delay in response.

I hope you already have found a solution to the problem. If not, you may try to check if the below-mentioned preference is checked.

Launch>Acrobat/Reader>Edit>Preferences, Preferences>General, make sure this "Enable PDF thumbnail preview in Windows Explorer" is checked. Also, you may check the screenshot attached.

Let us know if that helps.
