Scripted pattern brick fill options

Hi all,

I'm having trouble when trying to fill an area with a brick fill pattern. I've done this a million times, but I had Windows reinstalled recently and Photoshop along with it. After clicking OK, I used to get a dialog box with sliders for different modifiers, such as: scale, spacing, colour randomness, etc.

The problem is that the dialog box doesn't pop up now! After I click OK, the brick pattern applies with some random default options I guess, and I can't modify it.

How do I make that options box appear again? I would appreciate your help, as I can't find an answer for this anywhere.

I use Photoshop CC Version 14.0 x64 with Windows 10.

Thank you,

Denis

He mentions the first Photoshop CC, v 14.0 which I think should be 14.2.1 with all updates applied.

But then again window 10 would support CC 2017 or CC 2018.

Hi

I assume this is the dialog you're talking about

The only thing I can suggest is to try resetting PS preference

Try this method

To restore preferences quickly using a keyboard shortcut: Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop

That doesn't seem to work either.

Not sure if I have a subscription, I'll have to check as I'm using a company computer.

Also I don't seem to have _Deco Menu.jsx. I'll probably have to ask the administrator to reinstall Photoshop.

Thanks for your all replies.

Happy new year by the way!

Check the Photoshop subfolder Presets\Deco and make sure you have _Deco Menu.jsx. If you don't, you might need to reinstall PS to have the proper scripts installed.
