Is it possible to add a tagline with variable information when printing a PDF file ?

I would like to add a tagline to a PDF file when I print it to specify when the PDF have been printed and to say it is valid for the day. It is for QA purposes. Is it something possible?

Is this for one specific PDF file, or all of them?

It is for many files but not all of them, only controlled documentation.

OK. In that case the way to do it is by creating a custom-made script that will add a new "Print with Tagline" menu item to the File menu.

When clicked it will insert the tagline into the current file and then send it to the printer. It can even be set to remove the tagline afterwards, although that's a bit trickier.
