Can't generate Word .doc

100 page classic chm project compiles fine. Need to create Word document for Graphic Artist to make a pretty .pdf. Get warnings (style not defined, mapped to normal). Can’t find un-defined style in code, but do see some class = msonormal elements. Then I get “Word Document became corrupt when attempting to append a malformed topic” error. Next, RoboHelp fails to process a topic. Then it has Fatal Error “ Word Document got corrupt” and it aborts. A few more of these erros and it can’t generate the rest of the Word document.

Can’t search this forum for “malformed,” either. Get a “Variable FTVAR_RESULTTYPE is undefined.” Message.

Worked down Grainge’s Print Issues list, could not find MSObookmark string, but got slow yet successful .doc build when I delete all MSObookmarks from all files.

I curse MS bloated HTML code: Google’s worse curse ever is ““He’s nothing more than the blow-by of a buggery!”

Look under "Malformed topics message"

The string to search for is mso-bookmark.

couldn't find the entire string, but deleting any MSObookmark reference did the trick, thanks
