Lightroom has not been opening the last few days. The icon pops up then closes down.

Updated to the latest version of Lightroom. Mac specs will be below. Any help will be appreciated!Screen Shot 2017-12-25 at 15.32.05.png

You may be better served by asking in the Lr CLASSIC forum.

That aside:

Restart your computer

That failing to fix the issue - uninstall and and all iterations of Lr from your computer.

Reinstall using the Adobe Creative Cloud App available here >>

How do you 'open' Lightroom?

From a Dock icon?, from the CC Desktop App?, from a Catalog (.LRCAT) file?

Have you tried all three?

What Version Number is LR?  (IF you could open LR!  then check in LR Menu: Help > System Info...)

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.

After updating MacOS it is sometimes necessary to trash the prefs. Start by quitting Lightroom Classic . Launch Finder and on the menu bar click “Go” whilst holding down the Optn(Alt) key and choose Library. Open the Preferences folder and trash the main plist file relating to LR7 - see image below, click to enlarge .

Then re-launch Lightroom.

N.B. Apple hides the user Library until the Alt key is depressed.
