Photoshop Program Error

After updating to version Photoshop 19.0 I keep getting "File can't open due to program error"I uninstalled and reinstalled 19.0, same thing happened. So I uninstalled again and installed Photoshop version 17.0.2. Same thing continues to happen.

If you have insight regarding my issue, please please help me!

What file can not be open? An Image file, any image file? Post your Photoshop menu Help>system Info. Is it the same erre ib CC 2017 and cc 2018? What OS are you using.

I can open image files (JPEG & PNG), but I cannot open a Photoshop PDF. It's happening for both 2017 and 2018, I'm running on Mac OS 10.13.2 (High Sierra). Thoughts?

Can acrobat open the PDF? If it can upload the pdf and post a link to it I'll see if I can open it win Windows Photoshop.

Does Photoshop Import PDF dialog open?

I can try. 9/10 times acrobat will crash on me (and of course, it's the newest version as well)... How/where exactly would I upload?

Yes, it will give me that dialog box when opening... I switched to a PDF from a long time ago and it opened fine... but still won't open my files that I was working on last week... if that helps at all

I could not open your PDF files in Photshop CS6, CC 2-14 oor CC 2018 I did not get the Import PDF dialog just got an program error.. Acrobat Reader was able to open them and save them. Evem the PDF save by acrobat could not be open in Photoshop.

Adobe has recently upgraded my Adobe Cloud version of Photoshop CC to the 2018 version. I also now get the error intermittent error 'could not complete your request because of program error' , This never happened with the previous version. I run Windows 7 and have made no changes to the operating system. My old version of Photoshop has no problems and works satisfactorily so the problem must be associated with this latest download.

Can anybody help?

I get the 'could not complete your request because of program error' message when I try to open any image (.jpeg, .RAF or any RAW) .I am using Windows 7 and Photoshop CC 2018 via Adobe Creative Cloud. The program appears to work once after initial startup of my PC and then I get the error message on each subsequent attempt to open a new image, This never occurred with the previous version of Photoshop CC 2017.
