Hi,

Newbie..

Dodge lightens light areas but not dark... but sometimes it seems to work and others not?

I've tried all the different settings - exposure etc, resetting tools.. foreground colour is set to white, background black (I've tried switching). I've tried editing the main picture and a duplicated layer.

Also the layers are confusing me a little. any explanation of a group (I presume editing that group of layers?) And linking layers?

Driving me nuts!

Regards

Guy

Thanks,

I have tried that also, but still won't lighten dark areas with shadow selected...
