Hi there,

I have tried to find the answer to the issue that happened to me lately.

I use photos on my Mac to manage the images. I have jpeg images imported from my camera (camera writes down both in jpg and raw), I settle - use raw as original. and then when I try to open the raw file with the option Edith with PS it opens in PS as jpeg  not in camera raw.  it all used to work properly and suddenly I cannot open any raw file in camera raw..

would appreciate some ideas to solve this issue.

Is there a setting in Photos to send a certain type of file to PS. Photos might be creating a JPG file from the RAW before it is sent to PS.

Or you could use Bridge to open the RAW file in ACR and then PS.
