Help :: Error [Unable to import JPGs into Lightroom 4.1]

Lightroom 4.1 has stopped importing any jpg images telling me that

The file appears to be unsupported or damaged. (1)

The images are fine I can copy them to my HDD and open them in preview, GIMP, Camera Bag2 etc. but I just can't import from the card either direct from the camera or via the card reader in to Lightroom.

Any ideas would be helpful.

The most current version of Lightroom 4 is 4.4. Please update to Lightroom 4.4 and let us know if that helps.

Could be caused by Card

Could be caused by Reader

Could be caused by Camera

Can you copy the files from the card to your computer drive using some software other than Lr? If so, can you then Import them from that location into Lr?
