I have created a signed document, Lease, which has a spelling mistake and I need to change it.

I am trying to take off the security protection but it is asking for a Permissions Password. I have no idea what this would be as didn't set one?

Is this something that is automatically generated and if so where would I find it?

Quite new to this.

Thanks in advance

These are two separate things. One is the digital signature, which you'll need to clear before being able to edit the file, and the other one is a security policy, which also needs to be removed if it prevents editing the file in this way. To do that latter you must know the password used for this policy, though.

Thanks very much for getting in touch.

I have the password to log into my account but where would I go from there?

Nowhere. The two things are not related.
