Hi, my photoshop timeline is missing timecode on time axis (see screenshot). It is really annoying and I did not find out what to do with it. Frame numbers are missing either.
It would be really helpful if someone knows how to make timecode or frame numbers visible.
Hi Martin
I can't think of a setting that would do that.
I would try resetting your preferences which, if corrupt, can cause unusual behaviour in Photoshop. To do that go to Preferences > General and click on "Reset Preferences on Quit" then click OK. Then close and restart Photoshop.

Hi Derek -
In the screenshot it looks like it is already in a video timeline (the tracks are there) just without the time units at the top. I don't know of a setting in the timeline that adds/ or switches off those units, hence the advice to reset preferences.

You have to have at least one Layer with something in it!

Am I missing something - it looks like he has two tracks
I can create a track here from a single white background layer which is his Layer 0 and I still get the units.
His timeframe counter at the bottom left shows 2 seconds and 20 frames - but his timeline ruler just has zero on the left as opposed to this one which has the numbers

it appears that changing the UI font size to Large causes this behavior. change it back to small or medium, restart the software, and it's o.k
I would call this a BUG.
