A. i am interested in buying the teachers/students plan which is available for teachers and students if they provide a valid email address. is the .ac email address a valid email address and will confirm my relation to that organisation?  

B. can i discontinue a plan before the supposed end of it?

A - when I worked at a University and bought CS6 I used my personal email while providing my proof of employment, so I will GUESS that you may still use any email address you want, as long as you provide the required proof

But, since I don't work for Adobe, the requirement may now be different
