I am really frustrated. either with myself for doing something stupid or with Adobe for an unintended consequence of migration. Over this weekend I have been migrating my catalog to the cloud as part of joining LRCC. Going back into Classic, all 20,000 of my images have been "reset" to how they came into LR in the first place. For the 700 that I am currently working on, I went into the history for each image and set the image on the step before "reset", then I had to wait while the message went to the cloud and came back before I could reset the next one. It took me 3 freaking hours. I am hoping that there is a fix that will keep me from having to do this manually for the rest of my valuable (to me) images. HELP!!!!! please!

Hi bobbyb1951,
We're sorry to hear that your Lightroom CC synced images are being reset while migrating your catalog.
Could you please refer the section "All assets are missing" from this documentation Possible errors | Migrating photos to Lightroom CC and let us know the outcome?
Thanks,
Akash

Thanks for directing me to the ³Possible Errors² website. However, none of
the situations described there cover my problem. My problem is that all of
my photographs were reset to their original settings as imported to
Lightroom. All of the adjustments made have been neutralized. The history
for each image adjusted, or not, has ³reset settings² at the top. For the
images that were adjusted the history is there. As I mentioned on the
website I spent 3 hours going into each image for my current project and set
the image back on the last item in history under ³reset settings². I really
don¹t have the time to do this to my entire catalog. I need a solution from
Adobe for this please.

Is not the purpose of a Lr catalog backup for just such problems?
I would:
Delete every file in the cloud that was synced from Lr Classic -
Use a backup catalog to get my library repaired -
Sync 1/2 dozen images and test the result.

I will need someone to walk me through this. I am not confident to do it on
my own. I am not available to do this until Friday. I am traveling without
my personal computer. Can we set up an appointment for Friday for someone
to walk me through this procedure?
