Stroke Weight

I'm trying to animate my character walking toward the camera. I want them to get larger as they approach the screen so i make all the frames of the cycle, then individually increase each frames size. What i don't want is to increase the stroke weight. Is there a way to make the stroke weight smaller after if scaled it up?

Set stroke's Scale to None on the Properties panel.
