my Lightroom collections are grayed-out and not responding

Hello,

Since doing various Lightroom upgrades e.g. CC and CC Classic ( I now have three versions of Lightroom wahey ), most of my collections have become grayed-out and completely unresponsive.

I've tried creating a new version of a corrupted collection and dragging the images into it but the images cannot be dragged out.

Any idea how I can fix this?

Show us a screen capture of the problem.

Tell us the exact version NUMBER of your Lightroom. (Don't use words like "current" or "up-to-date", we need the version NUMBER)

I've been having the same issues for the past few weeks since updating.  I'm running version LR 3.3 on MacOS catalina Version 10.15.5. when I got to select a different image, it doesn't move. I constantly get the blue spinning wheel of death.  Also, all my editing tools are grey'ed out. It's becoming a real pain.  I have to force quit etc.  it sometimes works and other times I get the problem I described above.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

This is not Lightroom Classic. This is the software known as Lightroom. Please post this in the Lightroom forum.
