I'm trying to have the file name automatically printed on all of our documents to make it easier to find the files later. Adding the Page Information does this but it is impossibly small when the file prints. Any way to make this larger?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. As a workaround, you may be interested in the script mentioned here How to script Illustrator to insert filename in to textpath?
It would be easier to add the file information in Acrobat, which you can do by adding a watermark.

Bummer. It works fine when you use illustrator to print, just not when you save as pdf. Why they don't allow you to scale the page information to the size of the overall artboard is beyond me.
Thanks anyways.

Tag72a Looks Solid, does this allow you to control the Text Size in addition to the file's information detail level? We print spot color separations for screen printing and need the Page Info type to be larger and more legible.

For anyone interested, I found a semi workaround for this.
If you print the file to a pdf with the page information selected in Illustrator, the information is scaled correctly for a regular 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. This will heavily compress any rasterized images so it's not an outright solution to the problem but you can save two different version, one for future printing/editing and one to print on a small sheet of paper.
Alternatively, if you have also have Acrobat pro, you can click on the advanced settings under the print dialog which will give you an option to print this same page information which is more ideal since it only appears when it's printed. However, every computer/user printing files must have Acrobat Pro which is why this isn't a great solution for us.
