I have reinstalled my old version of Adobe CS 3 to my Windows 10 OS. Acrobat did not appear in the start menu so I had to go looking for it. I managed to put an icon in the start menu but not in the Adobe line up. However, it seems to work just fine so far.
It looks like Acrobat has split itself between drives C and D.
Should I just leave it alone?
CS3 is not compatible with Windows 10, so problems are to be expected. If
it's running count your blessings and don't mess around with the
installation too much...

I downloaded a compatible copy from the site.
Thanks for your input. I will leave it alone and be happy.

There's no such thing as a compatible copy. The two are not compatible, period.

Well, my copy is working fine. I don't know what to tell you.

Not compatible doesn't mean it won't work. It means it's not tested or supported by the manufacturer.
