Beachball of Death (Crash) Illustrator 2018 (Mac)

Beyond frustrated...anytime I try and save ANYTHING...I get the dreaded beachball and have to Force Quit! Any ideas??

You can have the beach ball of death OR a crash. It can’t be both. Where do you save to?

Thx...true. I get beachball when I try and save anywhere on my Macbook...desktop, specific folder, all the same.

What version of the Mac OS? Are you on a network or a personal computer? If you are on a network detach from it and try working locally to see if the problem persists.

High Sierra 10.13.2...working locally on personal Macbook.

Try and turn off any Cloud service synching options that might be on.

Dropbox, Google, iCloud, whatever.
