Hello,

MacBook Air, 10.13.1

I tried the ~Library/Prefrences clearing out the adobe .plist files and deleting and reinstalling reader, but the same problem keeps occuring:

whether clicking on or opening from the file menu, opening a pdf ends with Reader opening, but no file being visible. The recent files list changes, but the file is not visible, as if all files were closed.

I spent about 3 hours on this yesterday, any help would be appreciated.

Hello barakb71575018

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, PDF files are not visible when you open it with Adobe Reader, Is that correct?

Open few files with Adobe Reader, go to Window>Cascade>Tile and see if this brings up any PDF file.

You may also uncheck these two options under Edit>Preferences>General:

  1. Uncheck Show online Storage when opening files.
  2. Uncheck Show online storage when saving files.

Reboot the machine and launch Adobe Reader and try to open PDF fil

Hi Maryjon,

As you are experiencing a similar issue, did you try the troubleshooting steps provided in reply 1?

If that did not help, could you please provide the details asked below:

- Are you using the Adobe Acrobat DC or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

- Application version? Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

- Are you using Mac or Windows? What is the OS version?

Let us know if you need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
