Serial number LR5 doesn't work on iMac

Hi, having problems with activating LR5 on my new iMac. The serial number doesn't work. I bought an upgrade for LR5 in 2013 (ordernumber AD004212004NL), installed a trial version of LR5 recently en went to my Adobe account for the serial number. It failed. Tried to email Adobe with my problem, but that is nearly impossible. So I try it this way. Can someone from Adobe help me and give me a good serial for my purchase? The upgrade version of any version of LR always needs 2 serial numbers to be entered. The serial number of the version you are installing and a second serial number from a Previous version.

It requests one serial number initially.

Once you've entered your serial number, it will scan your hard drive for a previous installed version. When it doesn't find one (as in your case) it will then ask you to enter the serial number from an earlier qualifying product. Once that is successful, the software is then licensed on your computer.

OK, I see what you mean. Problem solved. I started by downloading and installing version 2 and then worked my way up to 5. Thanks again!

Glad it worked but there's no need for that. It wastes time and consumes unnecessary hard drive space.

Next time, just install version 5, enter your version 5 upgrade serial number then your version 2 serial number when prompted.
