Photoshop saves file with an Illustrator icon

After using Illustrator for several months, I recently downloaded and began using Photoshop.  The problem is that whenever I save a file in Photoshop, the icon used is the one used for Illustrator...that is, Ai instead of Ps.  The file name is proper (i.e. Ps), but  not the icon.  This makes it more difficult to visually locate the files...any ideas?

Thanks

Have you gone into Bridge or your OS and make sure that the file association points to Photoshop?
