Paragraph window has gone blank InDesign

Hello,

Yesterday my Paragraph window/palette went blank and will not return to normal. I have restarted the program, the machine.

All my other type controls work, the other palettes are fine -- Character, Glyphs, Text Wrap.

The fly-out palette for Paragraph Rules still works, but the main window is blank.

My CC software for PC is up to date.  Any ideas on this ?

When InDesign starts misbehaving, it's time to trash preferences. There are two techniques outlined below. If the first one doesn't work, try the second one:
