When I attempt to open an existing file it behaves like it has opened (icons show it as an open file), but no window or document appears. Restarting the computer seems to fix it, Occasionally, just quitting and restarting InD will fix it. Running the latest cloud version of CS on High Sierra, MacBook Pro.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll wait to see if the problem get worse. I'm weighing this inconvenience against losing a lot of painstakingly created preferences.

Same at us. We are working on a MacPro as Fileserver.
When a Collegue open (and close) an Indesign File, no one cant open it again.
Not clear when this Issue occured. Update on High Sierra or Adobe Update
