template project can't be parsed

I know this is similar to a previously asked question and before you link me to the answer. I used the create_project.sh script to create my own template

When I go to the new template folder I have created and try to open the project I get this error:

"<template location.xcodeproj> cannot be opened because the project file cannot be parsed."

Please help

Which version of the SDK are you using?

Which version of Xcode do you have?

XCode 9.2

2017 sdk

I am using adobe illustrator 2017 also

The reason it can't be opened is because PRODUCT_NAME, PROJECTNAME, name and productName are all blank in the generated project.pbxproj file. Even after you fill these in you get other errors when you try to build the project. Looks like the create_project.sh script hasn't been updated in a long time...

Hey Leo I just copied the project from another mac which succeeded making projects because I am on a time crunch. Thanks for trying to help.
