I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard loaded on my computer.  It worked fine, but it would not activate.  I know it is an older program and found out I have to reinstall it.  I was able to get a new serial number but got interrupted and disconnected from the page before I could finish.  I don't know how to get back to the page now so I can finish the reinstall.  Do I start over with the original serial number?  Do I try to sign in with the new serial number?  I am frustrated.

Acrobat 8 can't be activated any longer. See here for a solution: Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8

I would try to start over and see if you can get the serial number again. If that does not work, check your Adobe ID account, the new serial number may have been added automatically (you can check that here: Adobe ID )

You can get back to the page that allows you to download the new installer here: Download Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9
