photoshop freezes when opening canon raw from 5DM4

I reinstalled photoshop - no good

it says i have the latest Camera Raw CC

I have no clue how to address the problem

I do not have a canon 5D MK IV but I download a raw sample file and had no problem on my Windows 10 CC 2018.1 ACR 10.1

Immediately after installing Jan2018 Photoshop, I could not open any Nikon raw files.

Photoshop simply crashed and needed re-starting.

A reset of the Preferences fixed the problem for me.

Hi

Try this :

Start Photoshop . Go to Preferences >Camera Raw and uncheck "Use Graphics Processor".  Now try and open the raw file.
