It looks like you have two GPU installed in your machine.  Both seem to be GTX 1080 but the system Info look strange and messed up for the second one.

Use the Nvidia control panel see it the is anything in there tat looks off.

You say you have disabled the second GPU but Photoshop is still detecting it. Photoshop is known to have issues with multiple graphics cards so, as JJMack advises, start there with the NVidia panel.

I miss the part where you disabled the second one.  They are the same adapters and GPU try not disableing it.  You only have two displays surly one gtx 1080 can drive them why do you have two 1080 gtx adapters.

That's just it - I don't have two 1080's. As you can see above, the second is an Intel 530.

There's nothing in my Nvida panel that looks off - Open GL is set to the 1080, or auto-detect: neither option works.

I have almost your same system and I'm thinking what a problem you may have.

First, and quite simply, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling PS?

Second, writing in Cotana "driver" > "device management" ... do you have all the drivers updated?

I updated the device drivers before posting, and I just did an uninstall, including deleting all my settings, then reinstalled - no change.

Just in case, are you part of Windows Insider and are you using experimental Windows versions?

Go to "update and security" from the settings and at the bottom "Wndows Insider"

I do not want in any way to question you, but so far the only reason I know why 3D disappears is that Ps has a crack ... from what I see everything is perfect so I have no idea.

Giordano - ACP Italy - I checked and am not part of the Windows Insider Program. And no, not a crack, at least it better not be for what Adobe charges me each month.

I guess I'll have to try and call Adobe tomorrow

You will see that the assistance service can help you.

I'm sorry I can not help you, I use an HP Envy computer ($ 2000.00), Windows 10 64 bit and so on ... like yours.

I checked and after all the tests I don't know what it can be without having your PC in front of me ... in mine, I never had problems of 3D.

However, let us know if you could solve your problem.
