Captivate doesn't recognise buttons

I'm using Captivate to create a tutorial for a piece of software that was built using Namtuk's MyCommandButton ActiveX components. Captivate doesn't seem to recognise the buttons as buttons, so it's not creating highlight boxes when I click on the buttons. Is there any way round this?

Hello Andichan,

Welcome to our community! Have you tried manually capturing the screens where the buttons are present? To do this you would simply press PrtScrn on your keyboard (you can also pause the the screen capture engine by pressing the Pause key on your keyboard) . If that doesn't solve the problem, then you could always insert the highlight boxes once you have captured your screen action by choosing Insert > Highlight Box.

Thanks Mark, I've been doing exactly that. I was hoping there would be a way to get Captivate to recognise the buttons so it would add the instructions automatically, as it does with standard buttons. Oh well...
