All of the research I have seen tells me to shoot tethered with my Canon 5D Mark III I need to open Lightroom, click on the File menu then selected the Tethered Capture option. My Lightroom CC does not have that option. Below is what I see. My PC is running Windows 10. I have Lightroom CC. From what I have seen I should be able to do this with no problems. Can someone share some hope and help with me?
You have posted a screenshot of the new Lightroom CC, that cloud-based version. It's possible that you have been caught in the confusion of Adobe's naming convention with the release of this new Lightroom CC. You would need to be using Lightroom Classic CC, which is the Lightroom that has been around for about a decade, and is the version that DOES support tethering and does have support for your camera. There is no support for tethered shooting in the new cloud-based Lightroom CC.
