I have lightroom 5 and the classic CC, everytime i open it - it uses older version and tells me i cant preview photos, but they are there bc i checked on my canon eos rebel. I cant get it to just open the cc, even when i click on that one. The lightroom 5 never left my desktop, can i just  right click delete it? Is this why i cant view them?

Also, I have photos i can see that i tried to go back in and develop and it tells me the folders are empty. is there a way to fix that? or get them back

also, what are the correct settings for backing up?

please help i am crying and want a beer and its on 11:39am
