My lightroom keeps crashing on me and seems very slow. Here are the errors I'm getting

More specifically, it looks like you've got AMD Radeon driver version 17.4.4, which according to Adobe has a bug that crashes LR. See this bug report in the official Adobe feedback forum: Lightroom: Crashing with GPU acceleration on (AMD Radeon driver 17.4.4) | Photoshop Family Customer Community . As described in that topic, you have several workarounds:
- Disable the graphics processor via Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor. The GPU doesn't help LR much unless you're on a 4

It can be a problem with your graphic card oder driver.

- Disable the graphics processor via Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor. The GPU doesn't help LR much unless you're on a 4K or 5K display, which you're not.
- Fiddle with the AMD Settings utility, as described in the bug report.
- Rollback the AMD driver to 17.4.3, also described in the report.

Thanks for replies, I'll disable GPU in preferences and see if that helps. I changed the driver and still crashes. I need a better video card.

I am having similar problems too. I have a plugin paletteapp2 using it light room works fine except mostly when i delete a photo light room crashes. other things are going from editing to lib ray and back can crash it to. would it be the same problem or something else.
