Photoshop doesn't show editings on canvas until I zoom

Hi everybody,

I just got this terrible issue since few days: I can't see any edit I do on the canvas until I zoom in or out on the canvas itself.

This happens also when hiding layers: the hidden layers remains visibile until I zoom.

This make photoshop really unusable.

I attach a gif showing an example:

file?dl=0&duc_id=ixlabb8EDQIpeNCr5DtlKzjG75FqGyS32eWiUa0tC9ejDCDFRn3OWmE3HBXhCY2Z&raw=1&size=2048x1536&size_mode=3

(here the direct link to GIF: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/content_link/tpeyELWhuGAoqf6VvKrLsBXPt54lhpdfDfwUT5wSNgdaYC5MLhsrh... )in this GIF a just create some rectangles and, as you can see, they are not visible on the canvas until I zoom in or out!

I already tried to delete PS Preferences and it doesn't wok.

PS version is 19.1.0 on Mac OSX 10.13.3

Can anybody please help me? thanks!

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Just tried but nothing changes.
I also tried to keep the Graphic Processor enabled but at base or normal level, and I got the same problem.

Thank you!

Just to make sure: You are aware that changing those settings only takes effect on restarting Photoshop?

What else have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

I deleted PS Preferences, run OS and PS updates, I'm almost sure everything was working few days ago...

Cache level is set to 4.

I think I’ve noticed threads about such problems but in the only one I can find that seems fairy similar

Text in Photoshop invisible unless I zoom in or out

resetting the Preferences seems to have worked.

I saw, but this is not working in my case.

Is mandatory to restart the mac after deleting PS preferences?

No.

I could not find a perfect fit for your problem on

https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/

but maybe you have more luck, otherwise you could post a report with your System Info there.

For one more try could you test reducing the Cache Levels? (Probably no help, but still …)

Restarted the mac and I got the issue again.

I got a solution from this thread:

Photoshop doesn't show editings on canvas until I zoom | Photoshop Family Customer Community

"I was able to reproduce this behavior with Wacom Driver 6.3.27-2 -- Uninstalling that driver using the Wacom Tablet Utility (Uninstall for All Users) seemed to rectify this behavior for me.

Installing Wacom Driver 6.3.25-2 seemed to fix this particular behavior for me."

Tried uninstalling wacom driver and it works fine.
