Photoshop 2018 crashes on Windows 10 when using magnetic lasso tool

My Photoshop 2018 crashes on Windows 10 when using magnetic lasso tool. Why does it do this and how can it be resolved? This never happened on other versions of photoshop. Why can't Adobe stop these problems?

are you aware of the workaround on Magnetic Lasso? If you go to Preferences > Cursors check Standard cursor and it won't crash.
