Using Acrobat 9, when trying to print to the Adobe Print driver sometimes the pdf will have lines inserted as in double spacing. Other times it will create the pdf correctly. I installed the XL trial and still have the issue.

I have used another program called CutePDF and do not have this issue.

Hello David2518

As per the description above, you facing issues while printing a PDF file using Acrobat 9, Is that correct?

Please refer to the following KB doc and try the suggestions Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader  Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html

Note: Acrobat 9 is already declared as End of support product, so above shared suggestions may or may not work. End of support means that Adobe no longer provides technical support, including product and/or security updates, for all derivatives of a product or product version (localized versions, minor upgrades, operating systems, dot and double-dot releases, and connector products). For detailed information refer to End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)

Feel free to update this discussion in case you need further assistance.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

Sorry, reread your reply and looked at the provided link. The issue is not with printing a pdf, the problem is creating a pdf using the adobe pdf converter included with acrobat to print documents to a pdf file.

Sorry for the  trouble. Please install the trial of Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Reader DC and see if you still face the issue.

Let us know how it goes. As with Acrobat 9, there is not much can be done.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

I have installed the newest version Adobe Acrobat 2017 in trial mode and it is still having the same issue, some will create with lines best described as double spacing and the next attempt will create correctly.
