Hi,
when I use Lightroom 6.14, the software doesn't recognize my Nikon Lens DX 17-55 f2.8, whereas it recognizes my Nikon 70-200 f2.8 ("recognize" means that in the "Lens Correction" folder, LR doesn't find the profile of the 17-55 lens)
I have a D500.
When I used Lightroom 5.7, it did recognize my 17-55 (with my D200).
Is this normal ?
Regards,
Philippe
You're editing a JPEG, not a raw. There are only a limited number of lens profiles available for JPEGs -- most are for raw only. The Nikon lens profiles shown in your screenshot are exactly those that support JPEG. See Work with lens profiles in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Camera Raw

I don't have that lens. I looked through the Nikon folder of lens profiles, and the only 17-55 mm profile listed was specific for the D90. So apparently there isn't one available for your camera.

The list of supported lenses includes the "Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED" -- is that the one you're interested in? Support was added in LR 3.2 for that lens.

Thanks.
Issue is that LR doesn't find (nor propose me) the prifile of this lens in "development" mode (see pictures)

Well spotted !
I indeed recently created a new profile on my D500, and forgot to update the quality parameter to RAW.
Thank you very much for your response !
Without it, I would have continued to shoot in JPEG for a long time !
