Hey guys!

im very new to this, only used lightroom for a couple of days.

i've come across a problem.

im trying to edit some pictures and i notice there is a diffrence in image quality between the library view and develop view.

a nice sharp high quality image seems pixly and unsharp when i switch to the develop view.

is there something to do about that?

Please post screen shots with the same image displayed in the Library and Develop modules so we can see what the differences are.

What size in pixels is the image?

What is displayed in the Library module is a preview file created by LR. What is displayed in the Develop module is the actual RAW file.

Those dimensions are very small. I take it this is an image you downloaded from the internet.

It is more than likely the size, in pixels, that is causing what you are seeing.

I'm having trouble seeing the difference between your two screen captures.

But Just Shoot Me is correct, this is a small image in pixels, and the magnification selected (which you don't show) can easily cause pixelization.
