the installer encountered an error

hello

whenever i tried to install adobe after effect, i get this message " the installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. contact software manufacturer for assistance" i'm using macbook pro macOS high sierra.

any help ?

Do you have other Adobe apps loaded?

Sometimes this is fixed by signing out of the CC desktop app, rebooting the computer, & signing back in. Occasionally, at least ... might try that.

i tried to download creative cloud desktop app but also i have an error while downloading.

Is your computer running at 64 or 32 bits? These apps have to run on a 64bit OS.

i open my mac information. it's not written 64 or 32 bit.  is this only applied on windows ?

I'm using macOS high sierra 10.13.3

You should be 64-bit on that. I'd check user permissions, that sort of thing.

Not incredibly familiar with those on a Mac, though ... to be charmingly understated.
