Hi everyone. We are running AEM Screens for a short while and we are exploring new features to showcase content on our screens within our company. One of them is showing social media posts from our accounts. We are using the External Component in a 1x1 split screen channel, from which we are referring to an external platform we're using to collect and showcase our posts in a nice animated way. (Platform we're using is Seenspire social).
When testing on 1 screen it works just fine. The content is nicely showing on the screen and even embedded in a playlist, it works perfect. But we've noticed that after a while (and this time is not consistent, sometimes after an hour, sometimes it's longer, sometimes shorter) the content is no longer displayed properly on the screen. The transitions between the various social posts generated by the external platform are still showing, but the posts itselfs are not, we only get a black screen. When we "Preview" within the Seenspire platform, the posts are showing like normal (within HTML browser), so something goes wrong within AEM.
We have noticed that we can temporarily fix the issue by reassigning the channel to the location. This restarts the playlist and also shows the content again. But after some time, the posts dissappear again and we're left with an empty screen, only showing transitions.
