I have done this, and I still cannot use ADE. I need to be able to use this for my job so a better solution would be much appreciated.

Yes, I get that same error and have done the following to no avail:

I have removed ADE and reinstalled it.

I have removed ADE and have reinstalled an earlier version (version 3.0)

I have de-authorized my computer and re-authorized it on ADE

I have checked my time, date, and timezone settings, and all seems to be in order

it worked for me.

I use Linux and Windows10 on one computer, while I use Linux, the time on Windows is "frozen". I wanted to autherize Digital Editions on Win after adjusting the time I could to it.
