What dissolve is this? (After Effects)

Anyone know what dissolve this is on the text? Could be a plugin. Would be grateful for any help!

You could apply the roughen edges effect and key the Border property.  As you raise the value the text will eventually vanish completely.

Play around with the other attributes to vary the look a bit this way or that.
