Creating Anchors in Topics

In previous help authoring tools i've used there's a way to set "anchors" and link to those anchors from within the same topic or different topics. Pretty much when you click on the link created instead of just loading the particular topic, it will scroll down to the specified line in the topic. is there such a feature in RoboHelp?

Thanks in advance for your help and time.

Hi EL

Anchors in RoboHelp are called Bookmarks. Try clicking Insert > Bookmark.

Thanks Rick,

How do you recall back to that bookmark? I don't see it in the hyperlink options.

Hi there

As long as you have saved the topic after you create the anchors, they are then listed in the dialogs and Project Manager and Topic List pods. So you point at them or you click and drag them to the selected text to create the link.

Cheers... Rick
