Deleting Panorama Components

After completing a successful panorama, will deleting any or all of the individual images damage the panorama in any way?

The completed panorama image is a separate DNG file. You can discard the original separate images if you choose to do so. I usually just choose to stack them and retain them in case I decide to re-create the panorama. But that's just my own personal way of doing things.
