Hello,

I'm working on a portraiture image and I am currently masking everything (entire body, skin, clothes etc.)..my question is should I feather my masks and if so by how much should I be feathering them? What is too much and what is too little?

Thank you in advance,

CT.

That largely depends on the image and how sharp it is.

... and on the setting in which the object is being placed. For that reason there are no hard and fast rules other than that the placement should be seamless. It is akin to a man saying, "I can always spot a hairpiece." No. He can only spot a bad hairpiece. Good work in both areas is seamless.
