Not supported file or damaged file

I recieve the following error when opening a pdf created and emailed from an android tablet - "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open "11363 W Hutton Dr - wdiir.pdf" because it is either not a supported file tyupe or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."  other documents created on the same tablet and included in the same email to not result in this error when opening.  Please help....

Open the file in a plain-text editor (like Notepad on Windows). What are the first couple lines of it?

When opened in Notepad the document is blank.

Then something is obviously wrong with it... Ask the people who send it to you to check it on their end. If it works there ask them to re-send it inside a zip archive, or to share it using something like Dropbox, instead of emailing it directly.

How did you save the document? If it was on a Mac, and you saved it from within the Safari browser, you may have used Safari's File>Save As function. This will produce an empty file (the file size is 0 bytes). If that's the case, then move your mouse down towards the bottom center of your PDF file until you see a control bar being displayed. There is a save button on that bar.

The document was saved as a pdf using Adobe Acrobat Reader and the print function then saving as a pdf. Once saved it is being emailed as an attachment using the gmail app with an account that is going through an exchange account.

The free Reader does not provide a "print to PDF" feature, so you must be using some other software to do that. I would inspect the file after every step in your process to see where it stops being a valid PDF file.
