I have seen one other Lightroom user report this, they have a Perpetual License for Lightroom 7.2, which isn't really possible but that's what it says. I don't know what the solution to this is, but that is the problem, your license is not correct, and someone from Adobe needs to resolve this.

Yes this is possible. An original version is LR6.14 which is updated via Adobe Create Cloud.  An original version is not Hacked, Torrent, Pirated version of LR C CC V7.

Thank you for your help.

LATEST

When installing LR Classic CC V7 from the CC DTA it installs that version of LR into its own folder and not over the top of any prior version of LR. Also LR C CC V7 is not an Update. It is a New version and is an Upgrade.

So I have no idea how LR C CC V7 could pick up a Perpetual license for any prior version.

Do as I suggested to uninstall every Adobe app, including the CC DTA, then run the CC Cleaner tool to remove every trace of Adobe software.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Then reinstall the CC DTA,

Download Creative Cloud desktop app

Sign In with an Adobe ID that has a Valid subscription to the Photographer Plan, or full CC subscription to all apps, then reinstall LR Classic CC V7 and PS from the CC DTA.

No need to reinstall V6 or any prior versions of LR for LR C CC V7 to work properly. The License is based on the Adobe ID you sing in with.

You can also try contacting Adobe through there chat system.

Your License type says it all, Perpetual. It should read Create Cloud

There are no LR Classic CC V7 perpetual licenses.

This is either a flaw in the install or some type of Hacked, Torrent, Pirated version of LR C CC V7.

So you can try reinstalling with the correct, Subscribed to Creative Cloud, version or live with the missing features.

I suggest you open the Creative Cloud Desktop App, uninstall all Adobe software, Make sure you are properly Signed In using an Adobe ID that has a subscription to the Photographers Plan and then reinstall LR and PS.

Other than that, Best of Luck to you.
