Photoshop C6 on Windows 10 installation problem

Can anyone help me with this?

I have downloaded Photoshop C6 on my Windows 10 laptop, and I also applied the update 13.0.1 (I know see this was perhaps the wrong update).

The problem: the application just doenst open at all. No explanation. No error message. I double-click on the Photoshop.exe file in the installaation folder, absolutely nothing happens.

I cannot apply new update (13.1.3?), because I would need to open the application first, but it doesn't open at all.

Any advice please?

If you mean Update for Perpetual Windows CS6 version 13.0.1.3  you can try downloading and installing it manually.  However if CS6 will not start something is wrong with what is installed.  Try fixing that by installing CS6 on top of the current install.  That should back level what is in there to version 13.0 which then need to be updated.  CS6 should install activated and all you plugins will still be installed.  You can download the CS6 installer and the updated from Adobe site,

Did you try right-click, run as administrator?

Yes I did try running as Admin also, but same happened, no response.

I will try uninstalling and reinstalling it with new update, hopefully that should resolve it...
