How do I change the color of a single pixel using the color replacement brush?

          Choose View > Pixel Grid

Make the replacement color your Foreground Color swatch in the Tools panel

Go to the image and mark the pixel with the Color Sampler tool (good luck)

Cmd/click on the Color Sampler tool in the image repeatedly to maximum size view

Use the Rectangular Marquee tool to select the single pixel (The Color Sampler symbol will disappear)

Edit > Fill with your Foreground Color (or use Image > Adjustments > Replace Color, if you prefer)

Return the image to normal view and uncheck View > Pixel Grid, deselect the marching ants and remove the Color Sampler marker
