Export Photos in Lightroom Classic

I imported my photos from a jump drive into Lightroom Classic, I have made my corrections and now want to import them back to a jump drive. I did not see an option to do this under export a file?

You Export images from LR to a Drive and Folder of your choice using the Export button at the bottom of the Library module, left hand panel.

No the reply did not help, when you are in the export window you only have

3 choices to send your photos. Those are harddrive, email, or CD/DVD. So I

guess I would send the photos to the hard drive and then to the jump drive?

Click the Choose button, and navigate to the drive.

I have no clue what a jump drive is, but yes, you're correct.

However, I'd select to set the export path later in the export options and then you can directly select this drive if it is connected.

That's what some people call a flash drive or thumb drive.

At the top of the export window in the Export Location section you have a Drop Down options list to the right of Export To:. In that list you have several options to choose from. All of them can be used for what you want to do.

That list contains "Specific folder", "Same folder as original photo", and "Choose folder later (useful for presets".

If you want to put the edited images back on the same drive and in the same folder they came from you choose "Same folder as original photo".

If you want them to be exported to some other folder on any other drive or the same drive as the original files you have all 3 options to choose from.

You can choose "Same folder as original photo" and then select the option to "Put in Subfolder" and then type in a folder name in the space provided to the right. Or you can choose "Specific Folder" and then click the "Choose" button and browse your drives and folders, or create a new folder in the File Manager type dialog windows that comes up, for the one you want to place the exported images in and you can even leave the "Put in Subfolder" checked and type in a name. Or you can select "Choose folder later" option and then once the export starts it will come up with a file manage dialog window where you choose the drive and folder you want to save the exported files to.

As with most people that start using LR you don't understand fully how LR works and how to properly work with LR.

I suggest you do a Google search for Tutorials for working with Lightroom. You will find tons of very good online tutorials covering just about anything you want to know about on how to use LR properly
