Hi Charles

Is there a crash report?

Why are you using 2015.9?

Updates to Lr Classic are available or Lr6.14

I sent in the crash report twice to Apple - but don't know how to retrieve it.

I bought 2015.9 not not knowing what I was doing - did not want to get into a monthly subscription. Also this was before I decided to use mobile.

My desktop program wont allow me to update - it is grayed out when i try to select it!

You can't "buy" 2015.9. That number is for the Creative Cloud version, and it's only available by subscription, a monthly or annual subscription payment. If you actually bought a license with a serial number then you have Lightroom 6.

If you are really using Lightroom CC, why do you have a license number? Another question, are you using a 32-bit operating system?

I have no idea but I did get a license number. All I know is that it states Adobe Lightroom CC 2015 and about window shows this, perhaps I got ripped off?

As far as I see you have bought a perpetual license and this can't be Version 2015.9. This was a version that you have got if you have a monthly subscription. Possible that you have installed the wrong version.

I think the only way is to solve is a clean reinstallation doing the following steps:

  • Backup your catalog and ypur photos to a save location
  • Deinstall Lightroom
  • Download and run the Adobe Cleaner Tool
  • Download the installation file and the latest update for Lightroom 6 from here: Download Photoshop Lightroom
  • Install Lightroom and the update to version 6.14
  • Restore catalog and photos
My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 10 Pro 22H2 -- LR-Classic 13.2 - Photoshop 25.6 - Nik Collection 6.9 - PureRAW 4 - Topaz Photo AI 2
